pressure the tail end of it here right there sideswipes the northwestern section of the state of california. you can see it right there. that's why we're going to be wet again tonight. this translates into snow into the highest elevations of the tahoe area. but watch our futurecast. bam, right there, it places that cold front stretched right across the central bay about 8:00 tonight. and then there's that low i was alluding to with more scattered showers for sunday morning. the bul of the day will be dry. rainfall amounts another quarter inch throughout the san francisco area. higher amounts north of the golden gate bridge. perhaps a third of an inch of rain in downtown san jose. this means snow in the high sierra. winter weather advisory in effect until 10:00 tomorrow morning. and then it moves on over to a snow-rain mix by monday. tomorrow's temperatures 50s and 60s everywhere, flat winds out of the south at 5. 61 degrees in concord. 62 degrees in santa rosa. here is your seven-day forecast. we call for mostly cloudy skies each day monday through that getaway wednesday. now, even though i
if continues all the way from northern california. we are just getting the tail end of this and it is kind of falling apart. there is another system off the pacific northwest that is coming our way but it is staying to the north. we could see some showers for sonoma county on monday. for tonight, look for. some of rainfall a partial clearing after midnight. and otherwise, not a bad day with a mixture of clouds and son. the forecast for next week, coming up. >> a man is in custody and the san jose police are looking for a second man in the police involved shooting and suspect. they were responsible for four different robberies in the san jose area. around 9:00 a.m. on friday it looked like the getaway car. the police chase ended at greenfield airport and one of the suspects from shooting at the police. one officer was wounded. both suspects took off running and the driver was later found hiding in a home. he was shot but is expected to survive. that second suspect is on the loose. >> in 19 year-old man pleaded guilty in a 2009 beating and gang rape of a 16 year-old girl at richmond high sch
his doctorate from the university of california santa barbara. throughout his high school and college, however, he spent most of his time playing drums in a vary of -- variety of rock bands. he was part of several groups, one of which opened for steppen wolf among other performers for those old enough to remember them. his first film, "rocking the wall," began airing on pbs this week and will continue throughout this year. dr. schweikart serves on the faculty at the university of dayton where he has taught business, economic history as well as military history. he is the author of more than a dozen books including, first, "a patriot's history of the united states," which he co-authored. other topics on which he has written include national defense, history and histography and the u.s. economy. a television series based upon "patriot's history of the united states" is currently in development as well. we are pleased to welcome dr. schweikart to hear about his newest book, "a patriot's v. of the modern world -- version of the modern world." please join me in welcoming larry schweikart.

to this country without a penny in your pocket and ending up with a house in beverly hills, california. that is the american dream. that is what i believe is at the heart of republicanism. individual empowerment, individual ownership, individual responsibility. allow individuals to dream. allow them to go as far as they can. that for me is republicanism. that is why i am a proud republican. we had issues. we have to modernize. we have to be consistent on some things. we have to stop insulting people. i am is still a proud republican. host: the president took issue -- questions on a number of issues including immigration reform, something he promised in his first term and promises to make it a key agenda item. [video clip] >> immigration reform is similar to the past efforts. i think it should include a continuation of the strong border security measures that we have taken. we have to secure our borders. it should contain serious penalties for companies that are purposely higher and undocumented workers and taking advantage of them. i do think there should be a pathway for legal status
